Good article I read today ….”Why are you relaxing your marketing efforts?”
It can be very tempting in a slowing economy to cut back or eliminate your marketing efforts. That is exactly the wrong strategy and here’s why:
Your stronger competitors will not be cutting back, but, if they do…
- That’s great, as you can grab greater market share.
- In a rough economy, sales and profits will be down, so now more than ever marketing is important.
- The economy will turn around and when it does, you want to have some forward momentum versus starting from a standstill.
