Cohen Greve and Co. Expands in New York City

Cohen Greve & Co. has completed a merger with A.F. Notaris & Associates, PC, a long established and successful midtown Manhattan accounting firm.

Cohen Greve, a 20-person accounting firm, is bringing on board James Demetri, Frank Notaris and Rebeca Wong of A.F. Notaris & Associates. To accommodate the increase in staff, the firm plans to move to 420 Lexington Ave. in New York City as they expand their reach and client-base beyond Nassau and Suffolk counties.Tim Sherman, the Cohen Greve managing partner, says the deal will strengthen his firm's "ability to service existing clients and provide further depth in services and add significantly to the accounting services currently provided to medical and other professional practices."

This is Cohen Greve & Co.'s first merger since sole practitioner Tom Gallo joined the firm as a partner five years ago.
